During the month of November, a team of men from the west are doing a Western WhiskerThon
The team, three handsome men from the western region of StarFM Group are taking part in a WhiskerThon; growing more than whiskers in the shape of moustaches and beards – all to raise the much-needed funds for Cancer Research, our nominated charity.
Adding value and supporting local communities
Escalate in the Community is a valuable extension to our award-winning Escalate training and development initiative. Through our Client and Community Ambassadors, we develop community support activities and events around each project we undertake.
Each support programme, named the ‘STAR Pledge’ features a range of commitments, designed and tailored to the needs of local stakeholders. Delivery involves extensive collaboration and support from a host of agencies and bodies, coordinated and managed by StarFM Group's in-house team.
We further support each programme by providing employees with five volunteering days to enable their fullest participation.
Our pledge extends to maintaining and extending Escalate in the Community in the years ahead so that it supports a positive and sustainable change in the communities in which we work.
